On October 2, 2024, Middle School Denn John became the epicenter of Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations in Kissimmee. Our program, The Nucleus Orchestral Program, had the honor of participating in this special event, performing a repertoire that resonated with the over 300 attendees.

The night was filled with music, dance, and joy as our orchestra performed Venezuelan classical pieces like the famous merengue “El Primer Dedo” by composer Carlos Medardo, as well as unique versions of international hits like “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay and the soundtrack from “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Each note was a tribute to our roots and a source of pride for the entire Venezuelan community.

Music has the power to unite people and convey emotions, and that night we proved it once again.

This event was an opportunity to showcase the talent of our young musicians and to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our community.

We thank Middle School Denn John for inviting us to participate in this very special event. We also want to thank all the attendees who joined us and gave us their support.
