La celebración contó además con la participación de cinco jóvenes solistas de nuestro propio programa, Gaevin Fernandez, Rachelle Sandoval, Allan Diaz, Monica Gimenez, Jesus Briceño, con edades entre los 8 y 15 añosasumir el protagonismo en el escenario, reflejando la confianza, el desarrollo artístico y el crecimiento musical que nuestros estudiantes alcanzan a través del programa.

La celebración contó además con la participación de Zaireth Perez, Christian Quijano, Wagner Pastor, and Luis Chifo Martinez — along with Intempo Dance instructor and dancer Constanza “Coco” Braggiato y la participación especial del Director Invitado Samuel Castrocreando una experiencia artística enriquecedora y brindando a nuestros estudiantes la oportunidad de compartir escenario y colaborar con otros artistas.

Summer Symphony 2026 fue mucho más que un concierto. Fue una muestra de lo que podemos lograr cuando estudiantes, maestros, familias, artistas, voluntarios, patrocinadores y toda una comunidad se unen alrededor de un mismo propósito: brindar a nuestros niños y jóvenes un espacio donde puedan aprender, crecer, pertenecer y brillar a través de la música. La música nos une y los niños la hacen brillar.

"During June 2026, The Nucleus Orchestral Program held its Music Summer Camp 2026, an enriching educational and artistic experience aimed at children and young people in our community.

During the camp, students took part in classes covering ear training, music theory, solfège, and chamber music. These activities allowed them to expand their knowledge, improve their sight-reading, develop their ear, and strengthen their ability to perform pieces in small ensembles.

We were also joined by Ártiko, who offered a dynamic body expression workshop. This activity helped students build creativity, confidence, communication, and stage presence, using movement as a complementary tool for their artistic development.

Under the guidance of specialized teachers, participants honed their musical skills and developed values such as discipline, responsibility, respect, inclusion, and teamwork.

The Music Summer Camp 2026 was a valuable space for learning, artistic growth, and togetherness, where students shared their passion for music and created unforgettable memories.

The Nucleus Orchestral Program had a truly unforgettable experience thanks to the kind invitation of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts and Commissioner Mayra Uribe, as part of the Community Giveback Season event.

Our students were invited to enjoy the magical Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, presented at the prestigious Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, Florida.

The day began with organized transportation for our members, followed by a special brunch and an exclusive pre-show that allowed students to experience the theatrical atmosphere from a close and enriching perspective. Afterward, our young musicians took their seats in the theater alongside more than 10 guest organizations and schools, sharing a high-level cultural experience.

For our children and young people, attending a Broadway production represents much more than an educational outing; it is a source of artistic inspiration, motivation, and cultural growth. Opportunities like this strengthen their love for the arts, broaden their view of the professional world of music and theater, and reinforce the sense of belonging and community that defines The Nucleus.

We are deeply grateful to the Dr. Phillips Center and Commissioner Mayra Uribe for thinking of our students and giving them such a meaningful experience. Initiatives like Community Giveback Season reaffirm the transformative power of the arts and their positive impact on new generations.

On April 30, 2026, The Nucleus Orchestra, under the musical direction of Maestro Benito Liendo, had the honor of participating in the inauguration of the new headquarters of Renacer Foundation, contributing a special musical presentation that celebrated an important milestone for the organization and the Central Florida community.

The event commemorated the official opening of Renacer Foundation's new facilities and its expansion into East Orlando and Oviedo, reaffirming the organization's commitment to providing greater support and services to the Hispanic community. During the ceremony, attendees learned about the foundation's ongoing initiatives and future plans to continue strengthening its impact throughout the region.

As part of the celebration, The Nucleus Orchestra presented a cultural performance that added a meaningful artistic touch to the occasion, showcasing the transformative power of music in bringing communities together. The performance reflected the mission of The Nucleus Orchestral Program to inspire, educate, and strengthen communities through excellence in music education and live performance.

The inauguration welcomed numerous community leaders, elected officials, and partner organizations, including representatives from Orange County District 2, AdventHealth Central Florida, Florida Blue, CareerSource Central Florida, the Central Florida Foundation, Spirit of Joy Church, and several other nonprofit and community organizations committed to serving the region.

A special acknowledgment was given to Father José Rodríguez for his leadership and dedication, as well as to Vicmael Arroyo, Community Faith Coordinator for AdventHealth Central Florida, whose continued collaboration has helped foster meaningful partnerships that benefit the community.

The Nucleus Orchestral Program is grateful to Renacer Foundation for the invitation to be part of this memorable occasion. Events like these reinforce the importance of collaboration among nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and cultural institutions to create opportunities that enrich lives and strengthen Central Florida.

On Friday, March 20, 2026, The Nucleus Orchestra experienced a historic moment by participating in the opening ceremony of the professional women’s soccer match between Orlando Pride and Denver Summit at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando.

Under the musical direction of Maestro Benito Liendo, our young musicians performed the United States National Anthem before the fans in attendance, showcasing their talent, discipline, and artistic dedication at one of the city’s most prominent sports venues.

This performance represented a significant achievement for The Nucleus Orchestral Program and an unforgettable experience for our students. It gave them the opportunity to share their music with the community while proudly representing the cultural diversity of Central Florida.

This memorable occasion also reaffirmed our mission to create meaningful opportunities where children and young people can develop their musical abilities, build confidence, and grow through the transformative power of music.

We sincerely thank Orlando Pride and Inter&Co Stadium for welcoming us and allowing our orchestra to be part of such a special evening. We also extend our appreciation to our teachers, families, and everyone who made this extraordinary performance possible.

El Summer Symphonic Festival 2026 was an extraordinary celebration of talent, dedication, and the transformative power of music. Organized by The Nucleus Orchestral Program, the festival brought together hundreds of children, youth, and adults for an unforgettable artistic experience where music took center stage.

Held under the musical direction of Maestro Benito Liendo, with event coordination by Board Officer Eukaris Anaholi, and choral direction by Maestras Nohirely Mosquera and Astrid Sanchez, the festival reflected the collaborative effort of an exceptional artistic and organizational team committed to providing an inspiring experience for both performers and audiences.

Throughout the event, our students showcased the results of months of hard work, discipline, and teamwork by performing a high-level symphonic repertoire that captivated the audience from beginning to end. Among the highlights were large-scale symphonic-choral works such as Carmina Burana, as well as iconic Latin American pieces including "Mi Viejo San Juan," "Venezuela," and other selections celebrating the rich cultural heritage of our region. Every performance reflected the commitment of our musicians, faculty, and families, whose dedication made this remarkable production possible.

The festival featured a special guest appearance by internationally acclaimed Venezuelan cuatro virtuoso Jorge Glem, a Latin Grammy Award winner and Grammy nominee, whose outstanding performance inspired both the young musicians and the audience.

The celebration also featured performances by Huellas de Colombia Folk Dance, Wattaka Tampa, and Robrangel Samba Show, whose vibrant presentations brought color, energy, and cultural diversity to the stage, creating a unique fusion of symphonic music and Latin American traditions.

The event welcomed community leaders, elected officials, sponsors, and organizational representatives who joined families in celebrating the achievements of our students and recognizing the meaningful impact that The Nucleus Orchestral Program continues to make through music education. During the evening, Orlando City Commissioner Tony Ortiz (District 2) y Orange County Commissioner Mayra Uribe (District 3) were honored for their outstanding leadership, dedication to the arts, and continued support of our program.

More than 600 attendees joined us for this inspiring celebration, making the festival a vibrant gathering where music, culture, and the talent of the next generation took center stage.

With two outstanding performances that captivated audiences, the Summer Symphonic Festival 2026 reaffirmed our organization's commitment to artistic excellence, inclusion, and the holistic development of young people.

More than a festival, this year's edition left a lasting legacy of inspiration, hope, and unity, demonstrating that when a community invests in its children and youth, music becomes a powerful force for positive social transformation.
