On Friday, May 16, the Monte Verde School Orchestra from Mexico offered a moving and colorful performance at the Mexican Consulate in Orlando, Florida, as part of a cultural and educational event.
The performance was accompanied and supported by the Simanof Program, directed by Susan Siman, and with special support from The Nucleus Orchestral Program, thus strengthening the collaborative bond between programs dedicated to the musical education of children and youth.
This event highlighted the power of music as a cultural bridge and tool for integration, celebrating youth talent and the brotherhood between Mexico and the international community in Orlando.
The repertoire included popular and beloved pieces such as “Cielito Lindo,” “The Incredibles,” and “Remember Me” (from the film Coco), generating an atmosphere of joy and excitement among the attendees.
