Ernesto Rodríguez is a talented 22-year-old Venezuelan musician specializing in the viola, with a career defined by excellence and a deep social commitment. He has been immersed in the world of music since the age of five, discovering a lifelong passion for the viola early on.
He received his musical training at two of Venezuela’s most prestigious conservatories — the Simón Bolívar Conservatory in Caracas and the Vicente Emilio Sojo Conservatory in Barquisimeto. His dedication and talent led him to join the National Children’s Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela at age 11. With this orchestra, he toured across the country and later performed internationally in Milan, Italy, under the direction of the renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel. There, he performed at the historic Teatro alla Scala, becoming part of one of the youngest orchestras to ever perform professionally on that iconic stage.
Motivated by his own experiences, Ernesto began teaching and mentoring young musicians in his home state from an early age. Two years ago, he moved to Texas, USA, where he continues his educational mission through local foundations and orchestras.
More than just teaching notes and rhythms, Ernesto sees music as a powerful tool to shape better human beings. His mission is not only to train musicians but to nurture individuals with strong values and life skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom
