A Spring Festival That Enchanted Orlando.
The Venezuelan community in Orlando joyfully celebrated its traditional Spring Festival on April 20 at Fashion Square Mall.
Organized by Casa de Venezuela, the event brought together more than 350 people for a day filled with music, color, and traditions.
The festival was a true showcase of Venezuela’s rich culture. Attendees enjoyed top-tier musical performances, featuring an orchestra that played classic Venezuelan pieces like the famous merengue “El Primer Dedo” by composer Carlos Medardo, as well as unique renditions of international hits such as “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay and “Encanto” by Juan Figuera.
World Premiere of a Masterpiece.
One of the most memorable moments of the night was the world premiere of Suite Primaveral, an original composition by young Venezuelan composer Juan Figuera, a former student of maestro Benito Liendo.
Composed in 2023, this piece transported the audience to the soundscapes of Venezuela with its freshness and originality. It was a privilege for The Nucleus Orchestral Program to premiere this masterpiece.
