Summer Music Camp 2026
| Texas
Our Summer Music Camp was an experience filled with music, learning, creativity, and fun, designed to help our students continue developing their skills while enjoying a unique summer experience.
Through music theory, instrument exploration, ensemble activities, teamwork, interactive exercises, and musical games, participants had the opportunity to learn in an engaging way, discover new sounds, and strengthen their musical abilities.
Beyond music, the camp created a space for students to make new friends, build confidence, collaborate, and learn together, showing that music education can also be filled with exploration, play, and unforgettable moments.
At The Nucleus, we believe every musical experience can spark curiosity, develop new skills, and inspire a lifelong love for music.
Learn, explore, connect, and have fun—that’s how we experience music at our Summer Music Camp.

On May 1, 2026, we experienced a very special musical evening with our Side by Side Concert, bringing together musicians from TOSA – The Orchestra San Antonio and faculty from The Nucleus Orchestral Program TX on the same stage.
This collaboration gave our students the opportunity to perform alongside professional musicians, learn from their experience, and experience music through collaboration, inspiration, and artistic growth.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the performance of our outstanding student Victoria Falco, who had the opportunity to appear as a soloist accompanied by these remarkable musicians, making the concert an unforgettable experience for her and for our entire community.
More than a concert, it was an opportunity to learn, share, and grow together through music, in a family-friendly event open to the Houston community.
We are deeply grateful to the musicians of The Orchestra San Antonio and to our entire Nucleus team for making this collaboration possible and for inspiring the next generation of musicians.
When students and teachers share the stage, music becomes a truly transformative experience.

On June 27, 2026, The Nucleus Orchestral Program TX had the opportunity to participate in “THE SHOW” by BIBIANE New York, powered by HK RUNWAY, in a unique experience where music, fashion, and performing arts came together on one stage.
Through this special collaboration with BIBIANE, a modeling academy focused on professional training, elegance, and high fashion, our musicians took part in a performance that combined live music and runway, creating a dynamic artistic experience filled with creativity and glamour.
For our students, participating in productions like this is an opportunity to discover how music can go beyond the traditional concert hall, connecting with other art forms, new audiences, and unique performance experiences.
We are grateful to BIBIANE New York and HK RUNWAY for inviting us to be part of this experience and for creating new spaces where our young musicians can continue to grow, explore, and share their talent.

On June 20, 2026, students from The Nucleus Orchestral Program TX participated in the American Festival of Young Soloists, a special collaboration with Crescendo with Music, led by Alicia Gaggioni, at Cullen Hall at the University of St. Thomas.
During this inspiring musical experience, our young musicians had the opportunity to accompany outstanding young piano soloists from Crescendo with Music, sharing the stage and experiencing firsthand the artistry, collaboration, and responsibility of performing alongside featured soloists.
This partnership represents an important part of what we strive to build at The Nucleus: creating meaningful connections between organizations, bringing young musicians together, and providing artistic experiences that challenge, inspire, and contribute to their musical and personal growth.
We are deeply grateful to Crescendo with Music and Alicia Gaggioni for this valuable partnership and for continuing to create new opportunities for our students alongside us.

16 students from The Nucleus Orchestral Program TX had the extraordinary opportunity to participate in the 210 Festival as part of the Lone Star Orchestra, performing at the Edgewood Theatre of Performing Arts in San Antonio on June 18, 2026.
This experience was part of an educational program led by musicians and educators from TOSA – The Orchestra San Antonio, giving our young musicians the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and make music in a new environment alongside other students and professionals committed to music education.
For our students, representing The Nucleus in San Antonio meant much more than performing in a concert. It was an experience of growth, independence, teamwork, and inspiration that left a meaningful impression on them and marked an important milestone in the development of our program.
We are deeply grateful to have been part of this initiative and to experience firsthand the work of the ASCEND program in San Antonio, using music education as a powerful tool to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and generate positive social impact for children and young people.
Experiences like this remind us that when organizations collaborate and create opportunities beyond their own communities, the reach of music expands and its impact can go even further.
We are incredibly proud of our 16 students for representing The Nucleus and grateful to have shared this experience with TOSA, ASCEND, and the San Antonio community.
An experience that inspires, connects communities, and demonstrates the power of music to transform lives.

Summer Symphony 2026 was an unforgettable celebration of music, talent, growth, and community, bringing together 150 students from The Nucleus Orchestral Program TX on one stage.
The concert showcased the different levels and ensembles that make up our growing musical community:
Pre-Children Orchestra, led by Elizabeth Grimaldo
Children Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Music Director Katherine Rivas
Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Music Director Enn René Díaz
Children Choir and Adult Choir, conducted by Maria Fuentes
One of the most special moments of the concert was seeing five young soloists from our own program — Gaevin Fernandez, Rachelle Sandoval, Allan Diaz, Monica Gimenez, and Jesus Briceño — ranging in age from 8 to 15, step into the spotlight. Their performances reflected the confidence, artistic development, and musical growth our students achieve through the program.
The celebration also featured four guest teaching artists and vocalists — Zaireth Perez, Christian Quijano, Wagner Pastor, and Luis Chifo Martinez — along with Intempo Dance instructor and dancer Constanza “Coco” Braggiato and special guest conductor Samuel Castro. Their participation created an enriching artistic experience and gave our students the opportunity to share the stage and collaborate with other artists.
Behind this remarkable concert was an extraordinary community: 10 teachers and 20 volunteers, along with our families and collaborators, whose commitment and dedication made Summer Symphony 2026 possible.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Season Sponsors: FOMTEX Air Pro, Aqua Plus Pool Services, Monarca Law Firm, Wolf Designs and Permits, and Katy Violin Shop, for believing in our mission and supporting opportunities that empower children and young people to grow through music.
Summer Symphony 2026 was much more than a concert. It was a powerful reflection of what we can accomplish when students, teachers, families, artists, volunteers, sponsors, and an entire community come together around one shared purpose: to provide our children and young people with a place where they can learn, grow, belong, and shine through music… Music brings us together, and the children make it shine.
