On October 19, 2024, The Nucleus Orchestra Texas had the honor of participating in the 1st Latin American Cultural Encounter, an event organized by Art7 Foundation in collaboration with the Consulate of Colombia in Houston (CELH)and the Chamber of Latin Entrepreneurs ofHouston. The event took place at V.I.P La Fontaine and was a true celebration of diversity, art, and the cultural identity of the Latin American community. We felt privileged to be part of this meaningful experience.

Our performance was an opportunity to showcase the talent and dedication of our young musicians, who enthusiastically presented a repertoire that reflected the rich musical heritage of Latin America. It was a special moment where music became a bridge between cultures, connecting attendees through melodies that evoked our roots. Beyond the musical performance, this event allowed us to engage with other artists and community leaders, reinforcing the importance of art as a tool for unity and transformation. We are proud to have represented The Nucleus Orchestral Program TX in a space that celebrates the
talent and hard work of the Latin American community in Houston. This experience inspires us to continue growing and to keep promoting music as a means for the cultural and social development of our children and young musicians.
