The Nucleus Orchestral Program en FusionFest

November 29, 2025
| Seneff Arts Plaza Orlando, Florida

On November 29, The Nucleus Orchestral Program had the honor of officially opening FusionFest, the most important multicultural festival in the city of Orlando, before an estimated audience of more than 2,000 spectators.

Our young musicians delivered the festival’s opening performance, marking the beginning of a day dedicated to cultural diversity, inclusion, and the celebration of the many identities that shape the Central Florida community. The repertoire reflected the program’s cultural richness and artistic versatility, featuring works such as Danzón No. 2 by Mexican composer Arturo Márquez, Viva la Vida by Coldplay, and the vibrant Latin piece El Rey del Timbal, which filled the stage with energy and enthusiasm.

One of the most moving moments of the event was the participation of our member, young Mía Graterol, who had the honor of performing the United States National Anthem during the naturalization ceremony for new citizens. This deeply meaningful act symbolized unity, hope, and the shared values we celebrate through music.

The participation of The Nucleus Orchestral Program in FusionFest represented not only an artistic performance, but also a message of integration, cultural pride, and community service, reaffirming our commitment to shaping children and youth as both musicians and exemplary citizens.

We extend our gratitude to the FusionFest organizers, our families, volunteers, and the entire audience who joined us on this very special day.

We are El Núcleo. Music that unites cultures and transforms lives.
